Tara is a second-generation Realtor and her passion lies in helping her buyers and sellers understand this complicated real estate process. When she and her husband went to buy their first home, they had a nightmare experience where they were confused the entire time and had very minimal communication from their agent. They lost the house the day before closing and Tara decided she didn't want anyone else to go through that same awful experience.
Since then, she has dedicated herself to being knowledgeable about the housing market and finance trends. She prides herself on her communication skills and never wants anyone to blindly sign a document or make an uninformed decision. Her goal is for her clients to always know what is happening, why it's happening and what will happen next.
An Alaskan native, she has been in Portland for almost 10 years and enjoys spending as much time camping, hiking and running as possible! She is very active in the community coaching after school sports programs for elementary school kids, volunteering at the Washington County Animal Shelter and planting trees with Friends of Trees. She is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a country music addict and a lifelong 12th Man Fan (Seahawks fan). She lives in Beaverton with her husband and her two fur babies.
